1. Review Report on the Task Force Recommendation: The Task Force does not recommend defining the practice of law

2. Review Report on the Task Force Recommendation: Add an exception to the prohibition against the unauthorized practice of law permitting State-certified/registered/approved entities to use technology-driven delivery systems to engage in authorized practice of law activities
• Discuss and approve text for public comment circulation
3. Consideration of the Recommendation and Report: Regulation of an entity permitted to practice law using technology-driven delivery systems must incorporate standards sufficient to provide an equivalent or better level of protection provided to clients of licensed attorneys
• Discuss recommendation, including comments and concerns raised by full Task Force at May 13, 2019 meeting; finalize language; and vote on re-submission to full Task Force
• Discuss rationale for recommendation and presentation to full Task Force
• Discuss and approve text for public comment circulation
4. Consideration of the Recommendation and Report: If an entity is permitted to practice law using technology, then the nature of the technology used should not be limited or restrained by any concept or definition of “artificial intelligence”
• Discuss recommendation, finalize language, and vote on submission to full Task Force
• Discuss rationale for recommendation and presentation to full Task Force
• Discuss and approve text for public comment circulation
5. Consideration of the Recommendation and Report: If an entity is permitted to practice law using technology, then that entity should be required to provide adequate privacy protections similar to the protection afforded by the attorney-client privilege and a lawyer’s ethical duty of confidentiality
• Discuss recommendation, finalize language, and vote on submission to full Task Force
• Discuss rationale for recommendation and presentation to full Task Force
• Discuss and approve text for public comment circulation
6. Consideration of the Recommendation and Report: If an entity is permitted to practice law using technology, then that entity should be required to provide adequate data security
