Questions regarding any agenda item should be directed to the Committee Coordinator(s), Eli Wallach at 415-538-2274 or Chair, Alan Steinbrecher at 415-538-2000. Committee members are requested to notify the Committee Coordinator as early as possible in advance of the meeting if they wish to remove any item/s from the consent agenda.

The order of business is approximate and subject to change.
Open Session

I. Welcome10:00 a.m.
CAPA Nov 25 Working Group Meeting Slides
II. Call for Public Comment10:05 a.m.
Members of the public may speak to any item on the agenda. The Chair reserves the right to limit the duration of the public comment period.
III. Making Sense of practice analysis survey data10:10 a.m.
A. Review the draft construct statement and reach consensus on its final language
B. Determine which competencies should not be tested, if any
C. Determine which legal topics and/or subtopics should not be tested, if any
IV. Lunch12:00 p.m.
V. Determine the content framework for the test12:30 p.m.
A. Review the two-way table of areas of responsibility and legal topics as modified in the morning discussion
B. Determine if the two-way table works as a way of incorporating areas of responsibility and legal topics and as the content framework for the bar exam
C. Formulate recommendations about the weighting structure for the content framework
VI. Review the definitions for different item types, along with their advantages and disadvantages, with decision making planned for the December Working Group meeting2:00 p.m.
VII. Next Steps and Wrap Up2:50 p.m.
